Mackenzie Soldier Piles Project

Zebiak supplied a full range of services on this Kerrisdale, Vancouver MCD retention project. To achieve the density on the lot for the new multi union buildings, it was necessary to dig very close to the North Properly Line. Zebiak flawlessly executed the engineering design by Promatech Consultants, drilling and installing sixteen foot lengths of 4.5” O.D. solid steel pipe at a spacing of 5’ O.C. with the embedded portion of the pipe fully grouted. Then, during excavation, Zebiak installed 2×8 wood lagging behind the solider piles fit tightly into place with ¾” clear crush gravel successfully completing this SOE system.
